This Privacy Policy explains how PCC QAPI (“PCC QAPI”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website and when our customers (the “Customer”) and their authorized users use our SaaS platform (the “Service”).
Information We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on whether you are visiting our marketing site or using the Service.
- Account and profile information: name, email address, organization, role, and authentication data necessary to provide access.
- Service data submitted by Customer: information Customer or authorized users upload, enter, or connect through supported integrations (including data pulled from third-party systems at Customer’s direction).
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and interaction data to operate and secure the Service.
- Support communications: information you provide when contacting support, including content of messages and attachments.
Customer Data and Data Ownership
Customer Data is owned and controlled by the Customer. PCC QAPI processes Customer Data only on Customer’s behalf to provide, maintain, and secure the Service, provide support, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell Customer Data.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and support the Service
- authenticate users and administer accounts
- monitor, prevent, and detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- improve and develop the Service (including performance and usability)
- communicate operational notices (e.g., updates, security notices, and service announcements)
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Log Files and Analytics
Like many services, we collect log information when the website or Service is used. This may include IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and actions taken within the Service. We use this information for security, troubleshooting, auditing, and improving reliability.
Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Service may connect to third-party platforms and APIs (including PointClickCare) at Customer’s direction. When enabled, PCC QAPI accesses and processes data from those services only as needed to provide the integration. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Data Sharing
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: vendors that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, monitoring, email delivery) under confidentiality and security obligations.
- Customer administrators: Customer’s designated admins may access account and usage information for authorized users within their organization.
- Legal and compliance: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No security program can guarantee absolute security, and Customer is responsible for managing authorized user access and credentials.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customer may request deletion or export of Customer Data subject to the Customer’s contract and applicable law.
Your Choices
- Account information: Customers may update user access and account details through administrators or by contacting support.
- Communications: you may opt out of non-essential marketing communications where applicable.
- Cookies: you can control cookies via browser settings; some features may not function without them.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service.
